2016 Voting Tallies for President in Swing States [Ongoing Updates]

Swing states

Today is the day the Americans have been either eager for or dreading, depending on their individual feeling and beliefs surrounding the presidential candidates. Will the numbers come ahead for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump?

Throughout the day, The Public Slate, and its sister site, Guardian Liberty Voice, will be running updates on the exit polls in the swing states. These include Florida, Colorado, Iowa, Wisconsin, Nevada, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

At 2:20 p.m. ET, these are the current numbers in the swing states.  These numbers are based on the percentage of expected voters in each state.

Pennsylvania:

  • Number of voters: 45.9
  • Clinton 48 and Trump 44 percent

Ohio:

  • Number of voters 59.8
  • Clinton 46 and Trump 45 percent

Nevada:

  • Number of voters 58.7
  • Clinton 47 and Trump 44 percent

Wisconsin:

  • Number of voters 47.9
  • Clinton 49 and Trump 43 percent

Iowa:

  • Number of voters 55.9
  • Clinton 45 and Trump 46 percent

Colorado:

  • Number of voters 72.2
  • Clinton 47 and Trump 42 percent

Florida:

  • Number of voters 74.9
  • Clinton 49 and Trump 45

Overview of these numbers. At this point, there have been more than half of expected numbers of voters have cast their ballots. According to VoteCastr’s predictive model, it appears “Clinton is on track to win the key swing states, barring a huge surge of Trump voters late in the day.”

At 3:48 p.m. ET, these are the current numbers in the swing states.  These numbers are based on the percentage of expected voters in each state.

New Hampshire:

  • Number of voters: 84.3
  • Clinton 47 and Trump 43 percent

Pennsylvania:

  • Number of voters: 81.6
  • Clinton 48 and Trump 45 percent

Ohio:

  • Number of voters 88.4
  • Clinton 45and Trump 46 percent

Nevada:

  • Number of voters 79.8
  • Clinton 46 and Trump 45 percent

Wisconsin:

  • Number of voters 77.8
  • Clinton 48 and Trump 43 percent

Iowa:

  • Number of voters 78.5
  • Clinton 48 and Trump 43 percent

Colorado:

  • Number of voters 88.3
  • Clinton 46 and Trump 43 percent

Florida:

  • Number of voters 83.9
  • Clinton 48 and Trump 45

Overview of these numbers. The race is now closer in many of the swing votes states.

At 6:07 p.m. ET, these are the current numbers in the swing states.  These numbers are based on the percentage of expected voters in each state.

Pennsylvania:

  • Number of voters: 63.2
  • Clinton 48 and Trump 45 percent

Ohio:

  • Number of voters 73.7
  • Clinton 45and Trump 46 percent

Nevada:

  • Number of voters 68.8
  • Clinton 46 and Trump 45 percent

Wisconsin:

  • Number of voters 62
  • Clinton 48 and Trump 43 percent

Iowa:

  • Number of voters 66.5
  • Clinton 45 and Trump 46 percent

Colorado:

  • Number of voters 80.3
  • Clinton 46 and Trump 43 percent

Florida:

  • Number of voters 83.9
  • Clinton 48 and Trump 45

Overview of these numbers. These numbers have not changed much, even with the higher voter tallies.

Editor’s Note: No matter the outcome of today’s election, the country will move forward. Americans have the ability to rally behind the voters’ choices.
