On Oct. 7, 2016, Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan proclaimed he was sickened by Donald Trump’s lewd comments. Ryan is referring the comments the candidate was heard saying on the video released earlier today.
Tweeter, Greg Sargent suggested that Ryan believes if Trump were to sound contrite that all would be forgiven.
However, in the accompanying post the Speaker apparently was angered and disappointed with Trump’s behavior. He said: “Women are to be championed and revered, not objectified.”
As a result of the offensively lewd comments, Ryan has announced that he will not be attending the event with Trump tomorrow, Oct. 8, in Wisconson.
