On Friday night, October 28, 2016, Real MMA presents Muay Thai matchup; Mike Peningbtan battles Julius “Juicy” Lopez. This is a Las Vegas amateur event for the MMA fighters attempting to make a name for each of them.
Lopez is fighting through the 9th Isle Bjj School. The 21-year-old Lopez has a record of 4-5-0, losing his last fight in September 2016 to Corey Conway at the Tuff-N-Uff bout. Standing at 5-foot 8-inches tall, he is listed at 144 pounds. Andrada Muay Thai is in the corner supporting their fighter Peningbtan. This MMA matchup of Peningbtan and Lopez in Muay Thai has each up-and-coming pugilist fighting for a center in Nevada.
Muay Thai is an unarmed fighting sport. Combatants in this MMA specialty train in the use of use of fists, elbows, knees, shins and it is therefore also called the “the art of eight limbs.” The World Muaythai Council is the governing body of the sport. It was created in 1995 under the auspices if the late Thai monarch King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
The MMA matchup of Peningbtan and Lopez in Muay Thai happens in Las Vegas. This MMA bout is the undercard with the two main co-events scheduled between Bryan Linares and Keegan Blanco and Alfonso Espinosa and Mark Bunkley. Sam’s Town Live at Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall is hosting the event. The weigh-in is on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at 5:00 pm PDT. The fight card gets underway on Friday, October 28, 2016, at 7:00 pm.
