7 News Boston reports that the Massachusetts State Police are investigating a rollover crash in Stoughton, Mass. On Saturday immediately following 3:00 a.m. EDT, the police responded to a single-car rollover crash.
The car accident happened at exit 20 on Route 24. The incident resulted in one serious injury. Two of the passengers were ejected.
A preliminary investigation indicates that a 24-year-old Brockton woman was traveling southbound on Route 24. The woman was driving a 2003 Pontiac van and lost control. Subsequently, the van rolled over.
The other occupant ejected from the van was a 37-year-old woman. They were then transported to the Boston Medical Center in the South End neighborhood of Boston.
The total number of people in the van were eight. A 23-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. However, these occupants only had minor injuries. Also, two others were not injured in the car crash.
The driver was also treated for at the Boston Medical Center for minor injuries as well. The circumstances of the crash currently remain under investigation.
