Michelle Obama delivers a powerful speech on July 25, 2016, at the Democratic National Convention (DNC), informing the nation that she strongly supports Hillary Clinton for President of the United States.
At the DNC, Obama clearly stated, “in this election – I’m with her,” giving her full support toward Clinton. Hillary Clinton did not get angry when she didn’t win the election eight years ago, according to Obama.
The First Lady of the United States is a prominent political figure in the democratic party and wants nothing but the best for her country. She spoke on her husband’s behalf when giving support to Clinton. She became emotional when speaking and very passionate about who is next to run the country. “When you have the nuclear codes at your fingertips and the military in your command, you can’t make snap decisions,” Obama stated. She believes that in Clinton’s worthiness to become president and lead the country.
Obama mentioned how being in the white house was a life-altering situation for her girls and she considers Clinton a good role model to teach children around the world to be strong. She may become the next public figure that the entire country looks up to.
