Around 12:00 p.m. CST, on April 14, 2016, shots were reportedly being fired during a bank robbery at a Chase Bank in North Western Texas. According to ABC 113 News, there may have been as many as three perpetrators who attempted to rob the Chase Bank.
ABC 13 News stated that the bank located in the 19700 block of Highway 249 and intersected at Cypresswood. An off-duty police officer shot at one of the suspects. It has not yet been confirmed if any of the perpetrators had been shot or hurt in any way after shots were reported to have been fired during the Texas robbery.
According to Click 2 Houston, the Houston Police Department captured one of the men on 13800 block of Cypresswood, about a mile from the Chase Bank. The other two men had been seen running into the woods after one of the perpetrators had taken a bullet into the abdomen.
Police officials are working diligently to keep the investigation unbiased and secure. All possible leads, various amounts of security camera footage, and witness statements will be analyzed before any significant details will be released to the public.
Police officials have yet to confirm if the other two suspects have been apprehended from the Chase Bank in North Western Texas after reports of shots fired during the robbery.
