Golden State Warriors Win Game 4 Against Houston Rockets



The Houston Rockets failed to win a series-determining game on April 24, 2016. The Golden State Warriors won 121-94 against the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The Warriors are now leading the series 3-1 and must win Game 5 in order to advance to the Western Conference Semifinals.

Warriors’ point guard Steph Curry slipped and fell on a wet spot on the court moments before the halftime buzzer.┬áHe immediately grabbed his right leg and was hoisted off the floor by his teammates.

During the halftime warm-ups, Curry tested his leg and continued to shoot with his team, but returned to the locker room prior to the start of the second half. Due to a right knee sprain, he did not return to the game. It has not been announced whether Curry will play in Game 5 against the Rockets. He finished the game with six points.

Golden State Warriors’ shooting guard Klay Thompson finished with 23 points in Curry’s absence. Andre Iguodala added 22 points, and Draymond Green contributed 18 points in the Game 4 win. The Rockets’ center, Dwight Howard, led the team with 19 points, and James Harden finished with 18 points.

Game 5 will be played on April 27, 2016, at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif.
