Sarah Palin Attacks Mitt Romney for Trump Insults

According to Mother Jones magazine, former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin has attacked former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, for being “mean” to Donald Trump on Thursday, March 3, 2016.

Romney criticized Trump in countless ways and encouraged members of the Republican Party to vote for anyone but Trump. He expressed his opinions on Trump’s temperament, personal characteristics and qualities, and his overall judgment. Romney stated that Trump is a “phony and a fraud,” according to the Boston Globe. Trump instantly shared his response to Romney’s attacks and called him a “choke artist” by pointing out his rejected presidential bid in 2012.

Trump was not the only individual to fire back at Romney. Palin responded to a video that was posted on her Facebook page that shares concerns on Romney’s credibility for being a “great conservative.”

Palin stated that Romney’s attack was not specifically targeted at Trump, but more so on the Americans who Palin describes to be hardworking and conscientious. She further describes her support in Trump and his plans to transform the country by respecting the will of the people. She also stated her support of his plans to make America safe and great “again.”

The Public Slate will continue to provide information regarding the candidates in the GOP Presidential Election as it becomes available.
