One of the key races of the 2014 Midterms has been called in Kentucky as Republican Mitch McConnell wins his race against Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes. With this win, he will enter his sixth term as a United States senator and if the results overall favor Republicans, he could be the new Senate majority leader. Still, with his win in Kentucky, Mitch McConnell has retained his position as one of the ranking Republicans.
