Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have been friends for most of their lives. The last film they worked in together was ‘Good Will Hunting.’ At the Academy Awards in March, 1998, Ben and Matt received the Oscar for ‘Best Original Screenplay.’ The 1997 film was the last joint effort for the duo. This week it was announced that Ben and Matt will be reunited.

Ben and Matt jointly own Pearl Street Films, a production company. It is based in Los Angeles. Its current projects are the HBO series ‘Project Greenlight,’ and a film which will be in production in 2015. Its title is ‘Live by Night;’ Affleck will both star in and direct the film.

PSF will join with Syfy and produce a television show title ‘Incorporated.’ It will be a futuristic series concerned with a world which is controlled by corporations with unlimited power, and one man’s efforts to control his own fate.

No decision has been made about the cast, but there will be excellent talent behind the cameras. The pilot for Incorporated will be written by David and Alex Pastor, known for ‘Selfless,’ and ‘The Last Days.’ Ted Humphrey of ‘The Good Wife’ will join Affleck, Damon, and Pearl Street’s President Jennifer Todd as Executive Producers.

Ben and Matt have both enjoyed enormous success individually. Damon’s many successes include the ‘Bourne’ series, ‘We Bought a Zoo,’ ‘Ocean’s Twelve,’ Ocean’s Thirteen,’ ‘True Grit,’ ‘Saving Private Ryan,’ and many more. Affleck is known for ‘Shakespeare in Love,’ ‘Pearl Harbor,’ ‘Jersey Girl,’ ‘Argo,’ (for which he won an academy award for ‘Best Director’), and ‘Gone Girl,’ which is the number one movie in the country.

The ‘golden boys’ will undoubtedly make a huge success with ‘Incorporated,’ as Ben and Matt are reunited once again.
